Music can affect a person’s mood. When you place certain types of music, it can create different feelings. At a swingers party, the wrong type of music can put people out of a sexual mood. To avoid this, there are certain types of music you can use that will enhance the sexuality of the group. Here are a few things to consider.

Sensual Music

As a general rule of thumb, sensual music is always a good choice. Music from groups like Enigma or other ambient groups is a great choice. If you have separate areas set up, this type of music does really well in smaller playrooms where only a few people are going to be playing. This will create an atmosphere of sexual feelings.

High Energy Music

If you are going to have a dance area, or an area large enough for many people to play, high energy music is your best bet. This will get everyone’s adrenaline flowing and create an atmosphere where people are motivated to move around. Look for techno music, house music remixes, and club music for this type of situation.

Darker Music

If you are going to have some kind of dungeon set up, you want to find some darker music. Metal and electronic music work well for a dungeon set up. This will create the mood that is popular in BDSM and other dungeon play. It won’t take away from the activities. Just make sure the music isn’t blaring. It should be loud enough for everyone to hear, but not overpower people when they talk. You need it to be low enough for people to hear each other’s safe words if needed.
